Congratulations Miles O'Neal on publishing Year of The Dragon Lord! (Click above image for short video.)
Today marks a WONDERFUL day for one of our friends.... Austin author Miles O'Neal.
Miles has held many roles and worn many different hats throughout the course of his life. He's been brilliant at everything he's put his hand to...But he never thought he could write a short story...
That is...until he had a dream. He woke up and wanted to record what he'd seen in his sleep. As he sat down later, he thought he might have a very long short story. He kept writing, thinking maybe he had a novella. And finally, at the close of his story, he realized he had a book!
We've been working with Miles for months on his website, logo for his publishing house, and to establish him on social media. He's done brilliantly and is now reaping the fruit from investing his time, enlisting the help of others around him, and literally bringing his dream to life.
Miles, we're so excited for you! We've enjoyed working with you!
Do you have a passion or a dream? You were born with a purpose. You can make 2016 a year that you start something NEW and live your dreams.
Here are 3 encouragements to bring those dreams to life:
1. Get clear about your vision.
Most people think that your marketing and advertising begin when you sit down to write ads or posts. This isn't true. They all begin with your goals. Just like a house in construction, intricate goals and plans are laid before the first brick ever hits the pavement. If you haven't developed goals yet or have no mission or vision statement yet - PUT THAT PEN DOWN, GET OFF OF YOUR LAPTOP and go write that thing RIGHT NOW. Don't skip the foundation!
Everything you do - marketing included - should be oriented towards your goals and based on a clear vision.
2. Don't try to do it all alone.
Empower others around you to help you. (Creatives, this is for you especially.) Most entrepreneurs and artists think they can do it all - but managing the creative process, writing social media posts, building a website
(Above: A recent visit with Austin author Miles O'Neal right before his release of Year of The Dragon Lord.)
3. Once you have goals and a team in place, a simple place to start: Social media.
Not only is your social media page a simplified blog website (actually called microblogging), but it also is a way to begin developing relationships & inviting people into what you're doing before your website goes live.
YOU WERE BORN WITH A PURPOSE. Like Miles, you can make your dreams a reality in 2016.
And it can start with a simple, one-hour conversation.
The website we built for Miles, the logo for his publishing house and getting him started on social media all started with a cup of coffee...
From that conversation, we walked with Miles every step of the way. We designed the logo for his publishing house - Nine Realms Press (as shown on the back of the book cover above - Click the image to order your copy of the book). We built his website and established him on social media. After several conversations, he now runs his own social media and reached more than 5900 people this week with his Facebook page alone.
Let's grab coffee together - over the phone, via skype or in person and we'll discuss how to bring your dream to life. We'll help you write your mission & vision statements, work with you to define your goals, answer any questions about your marketing and social media, and help you build a step by step plan to make your dream a reality.
We're on the brink of a new year - and the world is FULL of possibility before you. Several months from now, YOU COULD BE LIVING IN THE FRUIT OF THIS MOMENT! Just like Miles, your dreams can literally come to life....depending on what you do with THIS moment...
Let's change the world together...
